Why choose a licensed day home?

Choosing a licensed day home gives parents greater peace of mind, as these homes are regulated and regularly monitored by their day home agency to ensure children’s safety, well-being, and quality care.

Licensed providers must meet specific health and safety standards, complete criminal record and vulnerable sector checks, and participate in ongoing training. This helps reduce risks while supporting positive developmental experiences for children.

In addition, licensed day homes offer structured programming with age-appropriate activities, maintain proper child-to-adult ratios, and are required to keep accurate records. This gives parents confidence that their child is in a nurturing and accountable environment.

For many families, this combination of oversight, professionalism, and caregiver support makes a licensed day home a trusted choice.
